It is very difficult and sad when you realise someone you care for is being abused by a member of his/her family. It could be a man or a woman who is being abused either with physical violence or in more subtle ways. If it does not feel right, it may well be domestic abuse.
If you are serious about trying to help someone you care for to deal with domestic abuse, it will be a long and painful road. You will need help and support, to safely help your friend / family member. You will need to tread very carefully, to safely support your loved one.
